The family run small B&B in a Victorian building locates within the beautiful village of Bodicote which is the closet village from the Banbury market town. We are on the main Oxford road easy access either from the town or motor way M40 Junction 10. Our rooms prices are competitive tariff for people like us which means we are cheapest in the surrounding areas. Opposite to the B&B is the Banbury Rugby club and Bannatyne Health & Fitness Centre with a relaxing swimming pool complimented by a Spa for beauty treatment and a restaurant. Next door (exact location is on the back of the B&B) is the Cotefields garden centre with an outdoor cafe with enjoyable view to the fields next to it . Across the way, two minutes walk from us is the Auction centre: Auctions are held bi weekly on a Saturday. Some 10 minutes away is Cotefield reservoir abundantly stocked with fish some may be resonably large. In about 30 minutes drive or less you could visit Cotswold, Warwick castle, Blenheim Palace, Oxford museums and Silver Stone for Grand Prix and Fairport Croprety music festival.
We are in a Rural area with the canal not too far away. We are a few minutes from Banbury town but in a village which boasts 3 pubs and a very old church. There are lots of country walks and signed cycle ways.
Being Victorian the stairs are a little steep but are fine for all age unless the disability. We do have a room on the ground floor. If you want to book with pets, you are welcomed but its better to check with us prior to booking. There is limited parking space inside and a large lay-by outside. It is on the A4260 which is a busy road however we are insulated against traffic noise. There is a small garden to the front of the B&B where guest children can play football or sit and eat on the garden furnitures. We have a secure area to store bicycles.
We are noted for our fine breakfast. We welcome short and long stay visitors and cater accordingly for overseas visitors.
